Really simple vegan flapjack

This is probably the easiest recipe I’ve ever used, it’s great if you suddenly fancy something sweet and can’t be bothered to walk to the shops. 30 min and you’ve got amazing flapjacks!


50g caster sugar
150g syrup
250g oats
175g butter


Whack the oven on at 180 0c.

Line a 20cm baking tin with grease proof paper

Mix the butter, syrup and sugar in a pan and melt. Add oats and stir.

Put in tin and level off surface.

Bake at 1800c. for 15-20 mins until just turning brown. Leave to cool slightly then cut in to fingers and remove from tin.
